Clean Water - The Maclean Brothers Pacific Ocean row, aims to raise £1 million for 45,000 people
Ewan, Jamie, and Lachlan Maclean, proud Ambassadors for Feedback Madagascar, are gearing up to undertake an extraordinary challenge: rowing across the Pacific Ocean to raise £1 million for clean water projects in Madagascar.
The Maclean brothers will embark on the 14,000 km crossing from Peru to Australia in May 2025. If they manage it, the trio will be the first team in history to cross the Pacific Ocean non-stop and unsupported.
This daring expedition, which will see them navigate the vast and treacherous waters of the Pacific, is not just a test of their physical endurance but a testament to their commitment to making a difference. The brothers, all with a passion for adventure, are determined to provide sustainable, clean water solutions to communities in rural Madagascar, improving the lives of over 45,000 people.
“Raising money for clean water projects is the focus of this row.” Ewan Maclean

In February 2023 Ewan, Jamie, and Lachlan enjoyed visiting many of them to see for themselves the impact of their efforts on local communities.
“Clean water is the most basic human necessity on the planet, yet 10% of people worldwide don’t have access to it. We’re doing something to change that. ,” the youngest brother, 26-year-old Lachlan, said.
“It’s incredibly inspiring to go out and see how the money raised is converted into the provision of clean water to people that don’t have it,” Jamie added.
